Outdoor Cinema 2012

In collaboration with the Museum of the Moving Image and Rooftop Films, this annual Queens fest is a virtual smorgasbord of family activity. Families can watch critically acclaimed international cinema, music and dance performances, all set against a picturesque view of the Manhattan skyline. Get your fill of international culture by checking out a screening of the popular Brazilian doc Senna (August 1) or the Japan Acadamey Award-winning animated flick Summer Wars (August 8). While tots might not be into the selection of foreign fare, older kids and parents with a knack for world culture will be intrigued by films from France, Italy and South Korea. Free. All ages.
