Movies Under the Stars: Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Residents of the Fifth Borough finally get their own alfresco film series, sponsored by the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden. All offerings are (more or less) family-friendly and preceded by concerts by local bands. This week have an out-of-this-world adventure with a young Richard Dreyfuss during a screening of this 1977 classic.
