Magic, Music and Early Movies

Though the silent films of George Melies (A Trip to the Moon, The Conjurer, and others) are classics in their own right, the highlight of this screening is the live musical accompaniment of Sxip Shirey. The underground musician will delight mini-hipsters with his one-man-band act, pulled off with help from a toolbox of homemade instruments. Ages 8 and up.
