Governors Island Family Day Celebration

Set sail to Governors Island as African Film Festival Inc. hosts their fourth annual day of family fun. Parents and kids can learn about the roots of African culture through short films such as Bongo Barbershop, creating needle art and moving to the rhythm during Afro-Brazilian dance classes. In the afternoon, kids can test their skills at Double Dutch and invite mom and dad to join in to see if they still have the steps to keep up. All ages.
