Though city kids spend far more time looking up at glowing skyscrapers than celestial bodies, clear Tuesday evenings at the High Line might give them a chance to wish upon a shooting star. Every week April through October 31, the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York brings high-powered telescopes and a wealth of knowledge to the elevated park. Check out far away constellations and planets, while learning facts about astronomy. From dusk until 30 minutes before the park closes.
