Make It! on the High Line

Enjoy NYC’s famous elevated park to the fullest during its festival series Make It!, at which kids get to enjoy a one-of-a-kind space in a creative, hands-on way. Offerings include dancing, gardening, interactive music performances, large-scale art projects and storytellers capable of dazzling the imagination. Each month has a different theme: During June’s “Make It Verde!” day, minis create masterpieces out of recycled objects Summer in the Square and participate in entertainment spoken in English and Spanish. July’s “Make It Rooted!” installment focuses on the importance of communities and cultures rooted in New York as well as the city’s impressive natural ecosystems.
