Jr. Science Club: Things That Go Boom

Whether in an action thriller or on the Fourth of July, explosions are dramatic, awe-inspiring and sometimes even scary. At this workshop, tweens will learn about how explosions come to be, from the sudden expansion of gases caused by chemical reactions to the mix of oxygen or hydrogen to flames. Ages 8 to 13.
