At the Brooklyn Public Library’s “Dream Big” event, little ones can shimmy to the tunes of the Itty Biddies (10:30am) before learning about Antarctica and the Arctic Circle through two theatrical works, “Polar Bear and the Beat” and “A Penguin State of Mind,” at Wildlife Theater (12:30pm). In the interactive Magic of Amore show (1:30pm), the magician Amore will mesmerize families by turning colorful handkerchiefs into magic canes and making objects materialize out of thin air. Zumbatomic (2:30pm), a high-energy movement regime, will get kids’ hearts pumping before they settle down for the likes of face painting and balloon sculptures (noon–3:30pm). Free. All ages.
