Award-Winning Middle Grade Writers

Middle-school bookworms can hear five of the biggest names in young adult fiction at this lit-packed event. Newbery Medalist Avi will read Sophia's War, a tale of the American Revolution, Richard Peck takes a nautical approach in Secrets at Sea, and Ann M. Martin recounts a bummer summer in Ten Good and Bad Things About My Life (So Far). Newbery medalist Rebecca Stead and Newbery honoree Shannon Hale will also read. Each book is set in a different time and place, so by the end of the reading, you'll really feel like you've been on a journey. Ages 8 to 12.
