Dinosaur fans big and small will rejoice in a visit to "Jurassic World: The Exhibition," which is just 2.5 hours from NYC (and perfect for a weekend trip with the kiddos). You'll meet a towering Brachiosaurus, ferocious Velociraptor and even a Tyrannosaurus rex as you explore, and the experience was created in collaboration with revered paleontologist Jack Horner and Creature Technology Company (the folks behind Walking with Dinosaurs). Some of the dinos are over 24 feet tall! Expect cool educational elements so kids can learn about the humungous creatures as they explore the exhibit.
There's also plenty more to see at the Franklin Institute too—including a planetarium, virtual reality experiences and "Robot Revolution," an collection of robots from around the world.
