We sent these mini New Yorkers on a blind (play)date in the city...let's find out if they became new BFFs! Check out The Playdate Project to read about more fun-filled match-ups.
The Playdate: Museum Tour and Clay Bar Workshop at Children's Museum of the Arts
Milo, 5 (left):
Neighborhood: Brooklyn Heights
Ideal Playdate: Playing with LEGOs at a friend's house.
Ryan, 5 (right):
Neighborhood: Gramercy
Ideal Playdate: Going to the Museum of Natural History.
Favorite thing about NYC:
Milo: "It's, like, the biggest city ever. I like the tall buildings, and I like to go to my grandma's house. She lives in Manhattan."
Ryan: "That all my friends are here. I like to play with them in the park—we climb around on the playground at Stuyvesant Town."
First impression:
Milo: "I think he was funny, and he seemed nice. He has the same name as my dad!"
Ryan: "He was fun, and we kind of looked the same. When he walked in, we shaked hands."
Best part:
Milo: "I liked the big [pin art board] thing that you can put your face in. It looked funny, and it only hurt my face a little bit."
Ryan: "I liked making the clay animals. I made a penguin. It wasn't hard; it was kind of in the middle. We didn't really help each other."
Friend potential:
Milo: "Me and him look alike–our hair and skin are the same. And I think he was good with the bathroom words."
Ryan: "He told funny jokes. I love jokes! We also wrestled with each other. We were just pretending, though. It was fun!"
