Were David and Amir a friend match made in heaven? We sent these mini New Yorkers on a blind (play)date in the city...let's find out if they became new BFFs!

Ideal playdate: Seeing a basketball game at Barclays

ABOUT AMIR, 8 (RIGHT):

Neighborhood: Briarwood, Queens

Ideal playdate: Building LEGOs and playing in his backyard

Favorite thing about NYC:

DAVID: “I like going to the pool and playing basketball. Sometimes I put on my Brooklyn Nets jersey.”

AMIR: “I get to go to cool places. I love going to museums like the science museum in Queens.”

First Impression:

DAVID: “I thought he was a cool kid, but I didn’t know he could play basketball because he was short.”

AMIR: “I thought David would be fun. He was nice, and he likes basketball a lot.”

Best Part:

DAVID: “I liked the scavenger hunt and shooting at the hoop. Amir helped me find Steph Curry’s signature.”

AMIR: “We made jerseys and went on a scavenger hunt and then counted the basketballs on the chandelier.”
