Who’s buried in Grant’s Tomb? No one, it appears—the crypts of Civil War hero and 18th president Ulysses S Grant and his wife, Julia, are in full above-ground view, however. Note: the memorial is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
