This month's installment of the free event series riffs on the new show "Connecting Cultures," an exciting display of some of the museum's best holdings in the newly renovated Grand Hall, near the main entrance. On the evening's roster are music from Los Colombian Roots (5–6pm), the chance to interact with artist Heather Hart's installation The Eastern Oracle (5:30–9pm with timed ticket), dance from the Africa-inspired Forces of Nature Dance Theatre (6pm), fusion music from Brown Rice Family (6–8pm) and a hands-on art project inspired by the Connecting Cultures installation (6:30–8:30pm with timed ticket), among many other offerings. All ages.
