Before Roy Lichtenstein became one of the fathers of Pop Art, he was a Cubist and Abstract Expressionist painter. This collection of large-scale black-and-white drawings showcases the artist transitioning from his roots to what we now recognize as his signature style: graphic commercial-illustration techniques coupled with manipulation of Benday dots.
