Quilting Kids

The art of quilting is deeply grounded in African-American culture, and holds the key to many marvelous and touching stories. In this workshop, participants examine the work of Faith Ringgold, listen to her stories as she demonstrates her art and become a part of the tradition by making their own quilts to take home. Ages newborn to 5.
