"Maira Kalman: Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World)"

Even kids will likely recognize the work of illustrious artist Maira Kalman as soon as they enter the exhibit—the featured artist has illustrated many children's books in addition to the likes of New Yorker covers. Fans will see pieces from her Max the dog series, as well as images from her newest picture book, 13 Words, a collaboration with Lemony Snicket. Drawings, paintings, portraits and photography are in the mix too, as are the artist's travel souvenirs.
