Live Model Sketching for the Family

In celebration of Smithsonian Magazine’s annual Museum Day, the Morgan is hosting a real-deal, drop-in sketching workshop for the entire family. A professional artist and educator will guide the participants through the creative process as a live (dressed!) model poses for the aspiring artists. Children and their parents will learn the fundamentals of figure drawing and choose among various techniques to best express their own views. Ages 6 and up.
