"Illuminating Fashion: Dress in the Art of Medieval France and the Netherlands"

More than 50 illuminated medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and printed books illustrate the evolution of fashion in Northern Europe from the 14th century to the early 1500s. Kids will learn how artists used symbolism in their depiction of clothing, and will be truly wowed by the four re-created outfits, hand-sewn using techniques of the time and authentic silk velvet, gold brocade, linen, straw and ermine.
