Hidden Messages

Some historians think quilts were used to pass on secret directions along the famous Underground Railroad route. During the new Literacy Quilt exhibit, kids can scan the quilts for icons from their favorite children's books, and afterward, learn to make symbolic crafts of their own. Ages 5 and up.
