Family Stories in Paper

A joint gallery tour and art workshop takes visitors through the exhibit "Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World)," which showcases more than 100 paintings and drawings by Maira Kalman, including many from her whimsical children’s books. Inspired by the scenes in Kalman's works, participants then design dioramas using colorful paper and fabrics. Ages 6 and up.
