Sunday, March 24 marks the opening of Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park for its 2013 season. The eponymous wheel was built in 1920 and was severely affected by Hurricane Sandy last October, but thanks to dedicated volunteers on Coney Island, the Wonder Wheel is officially up-and-running and will be offering free rides for all on opening day. The park also has three other adults rides: the Spook-A-Rama, Bumper Cars, and the Thunderbolt, as well as a 17-ride Kiddie Park.
