Tech Lab: Reanimator Lab

The Museum of the Moving Image transforms into a hands-on Tech Lab at this new monthly event. Today, local artists and video editors invite kids and their families to participate in the Reanimator Lab, a "community-sourced, hand-drawn animated GIF filter." Kids will have the chance to transform an animation using markers, glitter pens and construction paper. The new video frames will then be photographed and assembled into a new animation, which will be posted online. Ages 10 and up.
