Meet the Author: Jerry Pinkney

Children join the author as he presents The Lion and the Mouse, his Caldecott Medal–winning adaptation of the beloved fable. The vividly illustrated book tells the story of a lion that spares the life of a mouse, forming an unlikely bond of friendship. A drawing session, book signing and Q&A will follow. Ages 4 to 7.
