Time Out says

It may come as a surprise that Ellsworth Kelly, who pioneered minimalist abstraction well before there was such a thing as Minimalism, is also an inveterate renderer of botanical studies, but it's true. Throughout his career, he has made drawings of plants, and they have become an essential element of his art, inspiring his more familiar paintings. This show is the first survey devoted to this fascinating aspect of the artist's oeuvre, presenting some 80 works on paper dating from the late 1940s to the present day.
