Drop-in Art & Gallery Activities at the Newark Museum

At these monthly themed events, families participate in an interactive gallery experience with a museum educator followed by a hands-on activity inspired by what they've seen. Through November, the theme "Angels vs. Tomboys" explores images of femininity and girlhood in the 19th century as compared to today. December's theme is "Transformers," in which kids use materials around the museum to create a unique recycled sculpture. Ages 5 and up.
