You and your kids can experience a new culture during this festival packed with whimsical animated movies. The Francophone films with English subtitles include well-known Gallic classics plus newer releases. Youngsters can watch Jacques Prévert's poems come to life in a collection of shorts or be transported to the snowy Alps and beyond during morning screenings of Le Pere Frimas (Father Frost) and other kid-friendly flicks (Sat, Sun at 11:30am; ages 3 and up). The older set will travel to magical places and even into the past through films like The Tale of the Fox each afternoon (Sat at 1, 4pm; Sun at 1pm; ages 7 and up). Between screenings (1:45–4pm) kids can make shadowpuppet-style greeting cards, try mini French-language workshops, and enjoy Parisian treats, like croissants and madeleines from Maman Bakery. RSVP recommended. Ages 3 and up.
