Encyclopedia Brown Day at the NYPL

The main branch of the New York Public LIbrary is hosting an afternoon of fun in honor of the 50th anniversary of Donald Sobol's Encyclopedia Brown children's book series, about the adventures undertaken by a sleuthing child named Leroy "Encyclopedi"a Brown. Kids can expect a scavenger hunt, Encyclopedia Brown Mad Libs and, we're hoping, some excerpts from the mystery series. All ages.
