Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is no longer a secret fan of Taylor Swift.
Taking a break from running the country while potentially facing the end of his marriage, Justin Trudeau publicly tweeted an invitation to the superstar yesterday after Swift announced that she will be adding 14 more stops in Europe and the U.K. to her Eras Tour, featuring special guest Paramore, but no mention of Montreal or Canada.
Like Montreal didn't have enough hot topics to deal with.
Trudeau responded to Swift's announcement by cleverly paraphrasing lyrics from her own songs, imploring her to bring her Eras tour to Canada.
He wrote, "It's me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don't make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon."

While there are currently no scheduled dates for Swift’s international tour in Canada, the tour will take Swift across the globe to various locations including Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia over the next year—but seemingly snubs Canada.
Even the House of Commons is obsessed: Last month, Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux said last month he would file an "official" grievance "on behalf of all Swifties" in the country.
Taylor, if you're reading this, put Montreal on your bucket list, and move our next-level restaurant scene, beaches, and ice cream somewhere to the top. Whether you’re grabbing a cocktail at one of the city’s best bars, or eating al fresco at one of our best rooftops, this city is not to be missed.
