Delta Hotel has opened Jardin Milton off of Sherbrooke in the middle of downtown Montreal, the drinks alone are worth a visit.

Earlier this summer, Delta Hotel in downtown Montreal turned its back terrasse into Jardin Milton, a pop-up bar and summery hangout spot from their perennial place Brasserie Milton (formerly Le Cordial). Basing the concept around BBQ dishes from their chef Ron Kneabone, they're currently doing $35 menus for MTL à Table, but the real reason to go?

$35 cocktail fountains, large picnic-style carafe you can put on the edge of your table and share with friends. There's an impressive range of flavours, too: Mojitos, red and white sangrias, blueberry mules, spritz negronis, and gin seltzers.

The best part: During happy 5 à 7s, the price of the sangria fountains goes down to $25, and all the beers are 2 for 1.

...oh hi there, Jardin Milton.

When you consider the garden setting that acts as an urban escape, the pop-up bar with cocktail fountains, and the barbecue menu at the ready when you've had one too many? THat all makes for a pretty solid summer gathering spot. Don't be surprised if this starts coming back each summer.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Montreal's Jardin Milton is located at 475 du Président-Kennedy Avenue, and its garden, BBQ & cocktails are available from Wednesday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
