Calling all beer lovers: The Oktoberfest in Repentigny is on this weekend, and it's going to be a lot of microbrews from Quebec and food trucks from across the province collected in one place less than an hour outside of Montreal.

From September 9 to 12, ticketholders can take in the view of the Saint-Lawrence River while they dive into a full menu of brews and spirits to drink, food to eat, and games to play. This year's festival will host fewer visitors to comply with public health restrictions, but everything looks just as promising as past editions. There's also a Sunday daytime slot for families that's free for anyone 17 and under with activities and shows for everyone.

Beers for this year's edition include the work of breweries like Mille-Îles, Ours Brun, Le Fermentor, Dieu du ciel, Beauregard, Emporium, Toltèk, Pit caribou, and way more. Meanwhile, Ungava is bringing their gin to the party.

For anyone who wants to go during the evening, there's going to be comedy shows every night at 8 p.m., DJs providing music, an 'Okto Quiz' hosted by the Randolph Pub Ludique team of Repentigny, bingo hosted by comedian Chris Dupéré, and beer tasting workshops.

Don't have wheels, or no one wants to drive? No problem: Public transportation is offered free of charge with EXO buses to anyone who has a ticket to the event. People can bring their bikes too if they want to mount them to the front of the bus.

Oktoberfest de Repentigny is happening from September 9 to 12, and tickets for time slots can be purchased here.

It will be open on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and finally on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
