The new spot is coming out swinging in the pizza game by offering over 15 recipes on its menu, and can safely it's one of the few places in town that boasts both vegan and gluten-free options as well. The style's looking a bit more on the New York-style of pies that's been sweeping the city in the last six months and beyond since new names—including La Main Folle, less than a block away—opened a bit over a month prior.

Located in the space that once house Chuck Hughes' Local Jerk restaurant, Chez Zac's owner Deej originally came to Montreal to pursue music, and having called the Plateau home for the last six years, he's taken on the space to deliver a takeout spot with minimal dining in.

When it comes to those 15+ pizza varieties, many of them work with combinations that are easily recognizable, but a few break off and get creative: The Thai pizza with peanut sauce, the 'Siamese Dream' with the aforementioned sauce and chicken cooked in maple syrup and hot sauce, and the 'Goombas' mushroom pizza which utilizes oyster, Paris and enoki.

Whether you're enjoying a game night, finishing up your latest order at the SQDC or you're looking to try a new spot in town, this one looks promising in terms of some flavour exploration.
