It's beer o'clock! Known for their free-spirited packaging, Vagabond—the self-described nomadic brewer—will be showcasing three of their locally-brewed beers this July at Time Out Market Montréal. While the inspiration behind some of their brew is about not taking themselves too seriously, Vagabond’s beer is seriously good.
When are the free tastings?
Don’t miss the official tasting day on July 13 from 5-8 p.m. at the Market’s Beer Bar (one of three bars at Time Out Market Montréal) where you can geek-out with the brand ambassador during happy hour, and soak up their know-how while sipping on their latest brew.
What makes Vagabond so unique?
Oliver Bouvrette, Vagabond’s enthusiastic founder, and Nicholas Lavoie (the “brewer of happiness”) tackle brewing beer together like an adventure like no other.
Their common passion for good beer, and shared philosophy grounded in optimism to seize every moment (cue their motto “life won’t wait”), made them the perfect match. Nomads at heart (hence the name “Vagabond”), Oliver and Nicholas brew their organic beer in collaboration with other brewing friends as one of the six members of the Collectif Brassicole Ensemble. Located in Boucherville, the B Corp certified brewery operates with social and environmental sustainability top-of-mind.
What beers will be available at Time Out Market Montréal?
Starting in July, Vagabond will be spotlighting three beers: Fort Lauderdale (a fruity and aromatic IPA contains real orange juice); Dose d'amour (a low-alcohol Belgian blonde ale that is full of wonderful ingredients such as red currant, lemon balm and juniper berry) and Soleil Levant (a bright wheat white with orange, lemon and cilantro).
Every month, a local microbrewery is invited to offer a selection of its best products at Time Out Market Montreal’s Beer Bar.
