It doesn't matter whether you've got kids who will miss out on seeing Santa in a mall this season, you want to give someone a unique gift, you just want to be a kid again, or you've been naughty or nice: Santa will personally deliver cookie and hot cocoa kits to your door in Montreal and Quebec City right now.
What could be better than getting Santa come straight to your door, do a photo-op with the kids, and leave you with a kit for making some freshly-baked cookies and mugs of hot chocolate? Don't worry, Santa knows about COVID-19 too: He'll follow all the necessary guidelines and won't enter the house, making the whole experience perfectly contactless.
The unique Christmas offering comes from Prêt-à-table, a Québec-based meal delivery service where meals prepared by local vendors in your area get brought to your door for stocking up your fridge.
There are two options to pick from, and the price for both include taxes and delivery: The gingerbread cookie kit, where $45 gets you gingerbread cookie mix, cookie molds you can use later, decorative candy, icing that's already in a piped bag (no mess), and some hot cocoa mix. The other option's a $40 chocolate chip cookie kit that comes with cookie mix, candies, and hot cocoa mix.
If you're doing it for the kids, the company has free downloadable templates for wish lists the kids can use for presents that they can give to Santa when he comes to your door. They've also got coloring books to download and print for free. Ain't that sweet?
Deliveries in Montreal happen on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 5pm, and in Québec City on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 1pm; 48 hours before your delivery, you'll receive an email and/or text message with a link to track Santa in real time too.
