In a strange turn of events this morning, the Montreal festival Osheaga released its dates and headliners for 2021 and has already set up shop to sell passes for the event.

While no press release has gone out on Osheaga's website, they've announced that its 2021 festival will happen on the weekend of July 30, July 31 and August 1 with Foo Fighters, Cardi B and Post Malone headlining those days respectively.
"Welcome back to YOUR festival," the post reads. "Osheaga 2021 returns bigger and better than ever to celebrate its 15th edition... get ready for a magical reunion."
The passes are going from $333.50 for general admission to $608.50 for gold passes (exclusive entrance and Montreal Casino viewing terrasse access), or $1258.50 for platinum which includes perks like backstage tours, a massage area, daily brunch with mimosas and other lofty perks.
We're not exactly sure what spurred the festival to do this other than to exhibit some hope for the new year, and it's not entirely unwarranted. Today, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be addressing the nation as part of a press conference regarding the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in the country (which can be watched here).
