27 culinary booths, 25 exhibitors, and over 10 cultural activities to discover!
One of Montreal’s favourite festivals is back and better than ever.
POCHA MTL, a gigantic event where street food meets cultural festival, attracts over 20,000 fans every year.
Held in Griffintown at Hangar 1825, visitors should get ready to dig into street food favourites like fried chicken, bibimbap and Korean tacos served up by guest chefs from South Korea.
Bringing local businesses and performers together, this community-oriented event is also famous for its catchy K-pop tunes, dance troops and breakout sessions.
Don’t miss the famous tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes), kogos (a popular version of Korean-style pogo), dak kochi (chicken skewers) and jap chae (Korean noodles, vegetarian option available).
Save room for cupbap (pork/bulgogi/chicken), TK-aco (pork, bulgogi/chicken), buttered calamari (Korean-style honey butter), pancakes (kimchi/seafood with chives), kimchi fries, and the kimchi poutine.
Plus: popcorn fried chicken, deep fried vegetables and squid and Korean hotdogs!
Dance to K-pop tunes, and discover merchants' and exhibitors' booths.
Expect performances that will have you dancing and singing along to all your favourite K-pop songs, plus next-level dance routines and vocal performances from artists.
