It’s official: 9 km of road in 7 boroughs will be car-free this summer, including one Montreal street that recently ranked one of the coolest streets in the world.

Out of the 11 commercial streets in different neighbourhoods across Montreal being turned into pedestrian-only zones this summer, Plaza St. Hubert has made the list for the first time.

The 2-km strip bordered by rue de Bellechasse and rue Jean-Talon is making headlines thanks to its fresh new look and a slew of buzzy new restaurants and killer bar openings (we dare you not to fall in love with this country-themed saloon).

All this and more makes Plaza St. Hubert officially one of the coolest places to be in Montreal right now. Blake Lively, can you hear us?
