Montrealers can start shopping to up their apartments' home décor—and making their homes a bit more comfortable and good-looking for the impending winter—as of tomorrow, August 5, and the entry is free.
From 10AM to 5:30PM, a huge vintage bazaar will be taking place in the Plateau's Église Saint-Enfant-Jésus (5039 Saint Dominique). Of course, public health measures will be in place, so be sure to pack a couple masks.
The event, organized by the Facebook group Bazar Vintage du Plateau has been holding these events for a few years now. Tomorrow's event promises as many as 30 vendors, and—if it's anything like past events—should be a prime spot to pick just about anything an interested party can think of: Kitchenware, furniture, lighting, books, records and more should all be available (though no list of vendors has been supplied, but they seldom are in these events' cases).

If you've already made plans for this Saturday, there will be another event held by Bazar Vintage Montréal at Église St-Jean-Berchmans (5945 Cartier Street) on Saturday, September 26 from 9am to 4pm.
There's no entry fee to this second one either; there, Montrealers can find just as many vintage items to sift through: Home décor, collector's items, jewelry, clothes and shoes, furniture, lamps, frames, prints, books and magazines, records—even toys can be found there.
