Free movie day in Montreal includes gaming, bowling, ping-pong and billiards

Cineplex locations across the country are hosting a free movie day this September and you can reserve up to six tickets as part of one reservation.

Did someone say free movies?

With all the fantastic free things to do in Montreal, free films, gaming and cheaper-than-usual concessions tops the list.

Cineplex theatres across are offering a free movie day this September, with snacks and drinks available at lower prices than usual.

The Cineplex Community Day includes free movie screenings, gaming, and discounted concessions at select Cineplex, The Rec Room, and Playdium locations across the country.

Bonus: all proceeds will benefit BGC Canada (formerly the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada).

Time Out Tip: select locations are also throwing in free bowling, ping-pong, and billiards.

It's the perfect activity for a family day, and one of the best things to do in the city on a weekend.

When is the free Montreal movie day?

Head to your closest Cineplex location on Saturday, September 14, 2024, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

If you sign up for a free Cineplex account you can reserve up to 6 tickets as part of one reservation (first come, first served).
