Calling all BBQ lovers!
Parc Jean-Drapeau is hosting Les Rendez-vous gourmands, a giant barbecue event in celebration of the park’s 150th anniversary.
Expect a festive 3-day event not to be missed, including great barbecue, entertainment, tastings, live cooking workshops, and a packed musical program every day.
Chef Paul Toussaint, the culinary ambassador and chef behind Paul Toussaint and Americas BBQ at Time Out Market, will be joined by a stellar lineup of extraordinary chefs: André Sterling, chef Antoine Beriault, chef Eric Ku, the chef duo Sarina Yoth and Phong Thach, chef Oussama Ben Tafous, and chef Guillaume Daly.
Visitors can opt for a gourmet passport which includes 6 exclusive dishes, one from each participating chef, and also acts like a fast-track ticket.
Access to the site is free!
Time Out Tip: Don’t miss out on the giant omelet!
On Sunday at 11 a.m., 1000 portions of a giant omelet will be offered free to visitors. Made on site using 3,000 eggs by La Confrérie de l'omelette géante de Granby, the tasting will be hosted by the Dusty Brass Band and will also include a workshop on food waste with Jean-François Archambault of La Tablée des Chefs.
