In a series of photos posted on Instagram, the pop star seemed to be on a tour of the city, making her way from Mount Royal Park to Old Montreal and the Old Port.
With so many gorgeous parks and amazing hiking trails in and round the city to choose from, we’re guessing Dua Lipa—snapped with her brother—chose to hang out in Mount Royal Park because of its proximity to St. Viateur bagel (spotted sitting atop the iconic bagel shop's bag).
Mount Royal Park, one of the city’s most famous green spaces, is known by locals as “the mountain”. The 200-hectare park has three summits with unparalleled views.
Photos show a full spread laid out on one of the park’s picnic tables, with the siblings diving into Montreal’s famous bagels, smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers.
Another shot captured one of Montreal’s most iconic landmarks, architectural marvel Habitat 67 located in the Old Port, and finally her brother walking through the streets of Old Montreal.
Designed by Moshe Safdie for Expo 67, Habitat 67 is located at Cité-du-Havre, a peninsula with stunning views of the river, downtown and the Old Port of Montreal.
With all the incredible things to do in Montreal this summer—from the opening of the best new vegan burger in town, to the most Instagrammable terrasse in the city, or a stop at one of the gorgeous beaches in and around Montreal—we can’t wait to see where Dua Lipa goes next.
