When it comes to holiday lights, downtown Montreal really does it best.
One of the best things to do this season is checking out Luminothérapie—original and interactive winter experiences in the form of large light-and-sound installations designed specifically for public spaces.
This year, six new works will debut in downtown Montreal, one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world, for the first time in Canada around the theme of the Cosmos.
Expect four installations designed by French creators and two proposals from Montreal studios, including an interactive work and an original video projection based on meteorological data.
Some of the works are 33 feet high, so prepare to be impressed.
The 14th edition of Luminothérapie starts on November 30 and will continue until March 10, 2024.
Montrealers, visitors and downtown residents will be able to admire the majestic and colourful installations all along Sainte-Catherine Street daily from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Warm up at Time Out Market Montréal with a hot chocolate, glass of wine or a meal from one of the best chefs and restaurants in the city under one roof.
