The Quebec-Toronto corridor HSR and would shorten the travel time between Toronto and Montreal to three hours.
Travel time between Quebec City and Montreal would be reduced to 1 hour and 40 minutes, and 1 hour between Montreal and Ottawa.
Is there a high-speed rail from Toronto to Montreal?
Currently, the fastest way to get from one city to the other via a train is by a VIA Rail Canada-operated train, covering a distance of 541 km (336 mi) in approximately 5 hours.
Despite the fun things to do in Toronto, everyone in Montreal knows shortening the travel time between the two cities is a win-win because Montreal is better than Toronto.
