Did you end up cancelling that flight you booked back when the outbreak started, but you still had that time off from work? Good news: We're two weeks away from when international flights with Air Transat resume, and their summer schedule of flights is surprisingly extensive.
Back on June 11, Air Transat revealed that the date for the resumption of a new international flight schedule was set for July 23, and included details on their new traveller care program outlining flexibility in booking as well as new health and safety program.
The new schedule is comprised of 22 destinations in total that includes a network of stops in Europe, the "South" (ie. the Caribbean and Central America), the United States and Canada until the end of the summer season on October 31, 2020; depending on demand, the airline may "enhance" its offerings after that date.

As for those safety measures? Passengers at airports can expect to be asked health-related questions, and counters and self-service kiosks will be regularly disinfected in addition to plexiglass counters that will only take one client at a time.
When on a flight, surfaces that are touched often will be cleaned with disinfectant before each flight, and aircraft will be cleaned with electrostatic disinfectant "every 24 hours." Complimentary 'Traveller Care kits' that include a face covering, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be handed out; everyone's required to wear face masks throughout the flight; inflight service has reduced handling and contact of objects like food trays; and flights have advanced air filters.
