Calling all remote clubbers:
It's been a little over a week since our favourite things have been cancelled, closed and/or postponed in Montreal, but we made it, we're here—so why not party it up a little while you're at home alone or stuck inside with your roommates? We may not be able to attend Montreal festivals, grab a drink at the best bars in town or hit up our favourite spots for the best nightlife in the city, but what we can do is log on to a virtual nightclub, dip into our liquor cabinets or get something delivered by the SAQ, and dance it up around our living rooms.
With more than 7,000 people confirming attendance and more than 21,000 expressing interest like so many people in a line-up outside the door, this virtual nightclub Facebook event called 'Virtual Party - The 1st Digital Nightclub In Montreal' just goes to show that Montreal's not going to let something like coronavirus stop it from partying. Running from 9pm to 11pm on Saturday, March 28th, four DJs (DJ CRK, DJ Jay Ramis, DJ Guillaume Michaud and DJ Kärl K-OTIK) will play sets for all online attendees. All you need to do is RSVP on the Facebook event and you'll get a link to the digital party. Bonus: There's supposed to be small contest
And hey, even if you're not the kind of person who would go to clubs—or if you think you've gotten a little too old for that sort of thing—you have to admit it'll be worth checking out, at least for a couple minutes. It's hard to turn down an event that doesn't have door charge, right?
