Mark your calendars, Montreal: On June 22, the Société des establishments de plein air du Québec (Sépaq) will be having a special 50% online-only sale on annual passes to Quebec's 24 national parks, putting the price tag at $40.13.
The passes will go on sale at 8am EST in limited quantities, and will be only valid with the purchase of a new Québec National Parks annual card.

This is an awesome chance for Montrealers and people from across the province to access any one of the national parks in the province, as camping has been permitted in Quebec since June 1. That includes access to amenities like laundry and swimming pools, wading pools and water playgrounds are currently available, while on-site restaurants and beaches across the province as will be opened the same day of the sale on June 22 as well as other concessions that each national park has, such as indoor recreation and outdoor sports.

The passes will only be sold online, and a virtual waiting room will be set up two hours before at 6am to establish a queue for anyone who wishes to make a purchase.
One of the best features of the sale is that the annual card doesn't need to begin on the date of the sale; Sépaq has noted that customers will be able to select the activation date of a card, so long as it's within the next 12 months of purchase. That means a pass bought during Monday's sale could be activated as late as May 2021 and would be valid until May 2022.
