Venice in the Gables

Come out to see Coral Gables’ latest public art offering, “Venice in Miami,” featuring a group of hand-painted, eight-foot-tall replicas of Venetian mooring posts. The temporary exhibit takes over areas of Downtown Coral Gables as these colorful markers, each created by a different local artist, highlight the city’s enduring connection with Venice. On display as part of Miami Museum Month, Friday’s unveiling coincides with International Museum Day and concludes with a public celebration along Miracle Mile.
