Salt & Straw Ice Cream Social

Beloved Portland creamery Salt & Straw—which rapidly expanded up and down the West Coast since first opening out of a customized pushcart eight years ago—will make its East Coast debut in Miami with two new brick-and-mortar ice cream shops in Wynwood and Coconut Grove. Ahead of the grand openings planned for spring 2020, sample an assortment of Salt & Straw’s lauded seasonal flavors (we’re partial to the festive vegan chai eggnog) with $1 scoops at pop-ups throughout the weekend. Friday’s event takes place at Panther Coffee’s Wynwood location, and on Saturday find the cousin co-founders Kim and Tyler Malek peddling their delights in front of Tigertail + Mary in Coconut Grove. All sales from the pop-ups will benefit Lotus House Shelter.
