Where do Miami's hippest dogs bring their humans when they're craving a day of pampering and relaxation? Obviously, it's The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, where adults and their pups frolic in paradise, sans any worries (or loud children splashing in the pool). The Standard has partnered with South Florida-based DOG Hotels on a day of pampering just for the pooches on Sunday, March 16. Bookable from 10am to 1pm, mini dog grooming treatments will include brushing, nail polishing/trimming, paw pad care and stylish accessorizing. The sessions cost $15 per 15 minutes, with all proceeds from the event benefiting the Humane Society of Greater Miami in honor of National Puppy Day (March 23). After their treatments, doggos can cool off with pupsicles and puppuccinos while parents sip on the Paw Tail, a themed drink that supports the cause. Local women-owned brands Anita’s Stitches, Moon Dog Barkery and Klever Canine Academy will be on-site with custom accessories, gourmet treats and expert training tips, along with adoptable dogs looking for forever homes.
