Gorgeous small plates bursting with herby, earthy flavors—Neya's imaginative menu makes us rethink Israeli food all over again. For Passover, the Surfside gem is serving a family-style tasing menu ($150 per person) that kicks off with East Jerusalem-inspired hamachi carpaccio crudo and a dish of fried cauliflower prepared with herbs, tahini, 12 spices and cherry tomato. Next up, enjoy a black truffle wild mushroom polenta with chestnut, provolone and arugula and a roasted eggplant made with tomato and Ethiopian tahini yogurt. For the main, tuck into a grilled branzino accompanied by Jerusalem artichoke puree. The meal is finished off with a sweet figs parfait.
